Barbaro is dead
Barbaro was euthanized today.
And thus ends the longest, least interesting story in the history of the world.
They say
"Well, you know, anything could happen. You could get run over, pickpocketed, um, fall down a manhole, bump into ... people. Murdered. Imagine that! Or even just ridiculed."

Barbaro was an inspiration to us all. He gave us hope, dreams, and love, all while munching on dried oats and thinking about getting busy with the nearest philly.
In fact, I bet the doctor performing the life-saving operation was jealous, sick of being held captive to this news story, and sliced Barbaro's kidneys in an attempt to end it all. But it never will. Barbaro will live forever.
I propose the flags be at half staff for another 30 days.
